Review: No book should ever have "complete" in the title, including this one, but it is so good I forgive it. I wore out my softbound copy of this book so replaced it with this hardback. Much more than a collection of folding projects, this book is filled with the cultural and historical context of the spread of origami across the world.
It's a real classic. So much fun!

Review: My sister used to borrow this book from her school library. I first learnt about origami from this book and still remember some projects like the beetle crawling under the rug game. I remember finally figuring out how to do the bird base and how it made some of the more challenging projects in this book not seem so impossible. I couldn't find some of the projects in this book anywhere else so i needed to buy this book in order to see them again. I highly recommend this book it has some nice unique projects that range from really easy to hard, of course i might be very biased as i have fond childhood memories attached to this book, but it was the book made me interested in origami.

Review: I see why this book is getting so many blah reviews. People, it is full of trivia about origami. The doll on the cover is one of the trivia points, not one of the designs offered. This is a very informative book! I'm gifting it to my nephew this year just on the detail it provides in information rather than design. I've personally never encountered a more informative and interesting book on origami. The designs it covers are varied but basic in each area that they cover. It makes a great beginner book for anyone new to origami, but should also interest someone who has experience. I recommend it.

Review: This book is not what I expected. Instead of a collection of origami patterns, it's more of a collection of folding trivia, history, and folding projects, everything from paper cranes to how to put a cloth diaper on a baby.

It is set up A-Z, with at least one entry for every letter of the alphabet. If you are looking strictly for a book of patterns, this is not for you. If you want to find out about the history and quirky side of origami, go for it!

Review: Long ago I borrowed this book from a friend for a time and since them I wished to have one.
Most of the origami on this book are ease to fold and the instructions ease to follow, even if you have not much experience with folding.

Review: I purchased this book for the jack in the box model by Max Hulme which is less complicated than the Hugo Pereira model but very cute.

It's not a bad book but most of the content would not be of interest to someone wanting to fold more complex models. I would categorise the jack in the box as low-intermediate and that's the extent of it.

Review: This book was used as a research tool in planning craft activities for children from grades 1 through 6. The variety was wide enough so that we found projects for the entire group. There were a number of truly inspiring adult projects, too, and we'll be working on those for our own pleasure when time allows!

Review: Love this book! My daughter had checked this out at her school library and wanted to keep it. So I came here and bought it. Very easy for both kids and adults to use. She is 7 and able to make most without help. The book has a lot of great items to make.
