Review: I researched the best books that could assist me with my Medical Assistant Certification and this got so many great reviews I decided To purchase it. I will Agree with the reviews. It was very thorough, detailed and helpful for what we need to test. It actually prepared me for more than what was on the actual exam but it’s been a great refresher. I’ve been in the field for 17 years took a 5 year break but wanted to get my certification to get back in the medical industry. I took My test 6/17/20 and passed!!! So thankful for this study guide and for all the quizzes and test and explanations that guided my success in testing. This is a must have!

Review: I passed my exam with a really high percentage in all 3 categories. Exam guide over prepares you which makes the test feel like a breeze. I am a medical assistant and I have been a medical assistant for over 10 years (RMA certified). I did not want to underestimate the test so I studied as if I knew nothing. Now I am CMA (AAMA) certified.

Review: This book definitely covers everything that you need to be prepared! Some general sections I flipped through, but sections like anatomy, meds, psych & laws I read through everything page and I thought it was enough to prepare me. I like the questions at the end of every chapter w/ explanations for the answers...very helpful!
I passed my state exam, so I will say that this book holds its end on preparing you for the state exam!

Review: this is such a great studying tool! there are so many practice questions and they really prepare you for what the exam’s questions will be like. definitely recommend to anyone preparing to take their RMA (AMT)— I wouldn’t have passed without it!

Title: Comprehensive, SORT OF...?

Review: Foolishly allowed my CCMA certification to expire after becoming a DME rep. Bought this to refresh memory and prep for test. The book is pretty comprehensive but also simultaneously lacking details. I realize this is supposed to just be a study guide, but stuff I took whole classes for are reduced to a page or two.

I didn't feel especially confident by the end of it and have subsequently purchased the study guides offered by NHA directly. Honestly, I would skip this if you're in a similar situation.
