Review: The book is okay.... There were several pages where the lower case “e” was printed “backwards”. Quit the typo for a “handwriting book”. I feel there’s better out there.

Review: My first grade grandson is struggling with printing, but loves reading and especially loves jokes. We have just started using this workbook, but he loves the jokes at the top of each page. The subject of the joke starts with the letter he is practicing. Later in the book he will be guided into writing the punch lines. He is very happy with the process so far.

Title: Not great, just okay. Over simplified.

Review: My daughter reads like a champ, but is just starting with handwriting and spelling lessons. She loves reading the jokes in this book, but the letter practice leaves something to be desired. While the strokes are numbered, they aren't broken down to practice, for example, stroke one, then strokes one and two, then strokes one, two and three. I have to use the margins to break it down for her. In doing so I'm realizing that I'm just not thrilled with some of the styles of the letters. Personal preference, sure, but there it is.

Review: My 7 year old has enjoyed this book this summer. He's not one for loving workbooks or practicing handwriting, but he did enjoy the jokes in this book and I even cracked a laugh at a few of them.
